Have you signed up for the South East Water Priority Services List?
Following the water outage, which we were affected by a few months ago, it was noted that many residents were not listed by South East Water as a priority customers. It is a very good idea to place your name upon the priority list, if you are entitled to do so, as you will get extra help from the utility company.
Perhaps you are not sure if you have the right circumstances to join the priority list! If so, take a look at the image below, which may surprise you..


The Priority Services Register is a free service to help provide you or someone you know with a little extra support and includes:
- Appointing someone to speak on your behalf about any billing enquiries;
- Have your billing information in a format that works for you, like braille, audio CD, or large print;
- Help you with our interpretation service if English isn’t your first language;
- If you would like someone to be there if we ever needed to visit your property, South East Water would arrange that;
- Let you set up a password so that you know it’s really South East Water if they need to visit your home;
- Dedicated phone number and email address for the customer service team;
- Bottle water delivered if you are unable to leave the house during a water interruption.

The first screen that you will see after clicking on the link is below. You can register upon the list ‘as a guest’ if you like, so you don’t need to worry about passwords.

Once you’ve registered – What happens next?
South East Water will:
- Send you a welcome letter to confirm:
- The services you’ve signed up for and any communication needs you have;
- How they will support you if your water supply is interrupted;
- How they will use your data;
- How to contact South East Water, and
- What to do if your situation changes.
Checking in with you:
South East Water will also check in with you every two years to make sure that they are still giving you the best possible service, and try to contact you three times within each two-year period by email, text message, or post. This helps South East Water make sure your details are up to date so that you can receive the right support.
